17 W 26th St, New York 10010

Join us in a hands-on workshop to bring a small garden into your home. Learn how you can grow a wide variety of herbs, spices, and vegetables to cook with all year, even when limited to tight spaces like windowsills and fire escapes. Class will include a tasting, a guide to vegetable varieties and organic gardening techniques, and materials for a small window box to take home. Encouraged for ages four and above. Families welcome!

Taught by James O'Donnell — James O'Donnell educates and consults on food system change with various audiences, from farmers to restaurants to the general public. Through writing, events, classes and more, he hopes to foster communities towards a better way to eat. James lives in New York City.
